For most industrial single needle drop feed lockstitch machines

For stretching elastics and strip rubber in elasticized items or for retarding tapes and laces in order to create shirring or fullness.  Tensions brackets are generally used in conjunction with some form of folding attachment (foot or guide). Table type fastens to either top, front or underside of the machine table.
